If you're using your WildCam 2 regularly, a solar panel can make sense - meaning you don't have to bring the camera inside for recharging quite so often.
The WildCam Solar Panel plugs into the base of the WildCam 2, keeping a weatherproof barrier, and trickle-charges the internal batteries of the WildCam 2.
The solar panel should be placed ideally south facing, at a 45 degree angle. In the winter months, the lower levels of sunlight may mean you need to top up the batteries of the WildCam 2 by charging from a mains source.
The Solar Panel comes with a bracket mount, which can be mounted on a post or a wall.
