Introducing the NatureSpy WiFi WildCam 2: the newest version of our WiFi Wildlife Camera.

At NatureSpy we've been busy working on the WiFi WildCam 2, an innovative WiFi wildlife camera that is compact, portable, and specifically designed with the wildlife enthusiast in mind. This WiFi-connected wildlife camera is a result of our ongoing efforts to deliver the best solution for garden wildlife watching, following the overwhelming success of our original WiFi WildCam.

New, new, and more new features

We've given the WiFi WildCam 2 a fresh new look, a brand new app for both iOS and Android, a silicone cover that laughs in the face of rain, pre-installed 32GB memory card (no on-going subscription costs at all) and heaps of cool new features. It's all set and ready to make your wildlife watching more enjoyable than ever. 

Switch Between Colour and Infrared Night Vision with Ease

Featuring built-in white LED and high quality infrared LEDs, the WiFi WildCam 2 lets you conveniently toggle between colour and infrared night vision, simply at a tap on the app. Our WiFi wildlife camera offers you the chance to see your garden wildlife in a whole new light, and find out what nocturnal animals have been visiting your patch.

Powered by 5200mah rechargeable batteries and controlled with our user-friendly app, the Wifi WildCam 2 lets you keep an eye on your favourite garden critters and capture footage of wildlife right from your smartphone or tablet. Be it day or night, and in HD to boot.

Optimised for UK Wildlife – Perfect for Hedgehogs

We've gone all-out to make sure the built-in motion sensor is just right for UK wildlife. It's perfect for watching hedgehogs, birds, and more. It'll ping an alert to your smart device as soon as there's action, so you won't miss a thing. If you're busy and miss the alert, don’t worry - the WiFi WildCam camera records the clip for you to enjoy later.

Small but Mighty Garden Wildlife Camera

The WiFi WildCam 2 may be small, but it's pretty mighty. You can place it wherever you like, and its wide-angle lens means you can fit a lot into the frame. It's your inconspicuous little ally for more targeted wildlife watching than with a regular trail camera. For smaller creatures, we suggest popping it 5-20ft from the action.

Sharing is Caring

Capture your favourite wildlife moments and share them instantly with your friends and family via Facebook, WhatsApp, and other platforms using the app's record feature.

Never Run Out of Power

When the batteries start to feel tired, just recharge the internal battery using the camera's USB port, and you're back in action. If you want to go the extra mile, you can grab our WildCam Solar Panel for longer-lasting power.

Link Multiple Wildlife Cameras

If you're looking to keep tabs on multiple spots, you can link several WiFi cameras to the app. Name them whatever you fancy, and you'll know at a glance whether it's the 'Bird feeder' or the 'Hedgehog house' that's buzzing with activity. You can even link up our bird feeder camera, the Birdcam Pro. With the connected app it's easier than ever to set up a wildlife camera network in your garden. 

Mount it Anywhere

The WiFi WildCam 2 can be wall-mounted using the provided wall mount, or paired with our specially designed MiniPod Stretch.

Watch in action

The WiFi WildCam 2 records in crisp 1080p HD video, day and night. 

You can view the action straight on your smartphone or tablet - either watching live or using the playback feature. The camera just needs a consistent WiFi connection and your smart device must be connected to the internet. 

At night, the integrated IR or colour LEDs (depending on the settings chosen) illuminate the area and automatically adjust depending on the conditions, ensuring the image is properly lit and clear.

If you are wanting the highest quality video possible from your wildlife camera, we'd always still recommend taking a look at the Browning Recon Force Elite HP5 - but if you want WiFi capability and good video quality, the WiFi WildCam 2 could be the way to go.

We've made sure the small WiFi WildCam 2 is as sturdy and as long lasting as possible. It's small enough that it can sit in the palm of your hand, and our new version is fully enclosed for better weatherproofing.

The internal batteries are rechargeable lithium for the best performance and battery life, as well as being more environmentally friendly. You can charge these up using the USB-C port on the base of the camera and provided USB cable. 

Battery life is very dependant on how active the camera is and how often you connect to it or watch live. It can last for over 3 months if checking once every few days. Obviously if you're using it more intensively, you may need to recharge more often.

We also have our brand new WildCam Solar Panel which will trickle charge the batteries when the sun is out - meaning you can potentially never need to charge the wildlife camera.

The WiFi WildCam 2 is also supplied with a 1 year warranty in the UK when bought through NatureSpy.

Ease of use

For the new version of our WiFi WildCam, we wanted to make it even easier to use than the last version. 

Some key changes make that happen - the memory card is supplied and pre-installed. The batteries are internal, so don't have to be inserted into the camera (we still recommend charging it up fully before you get going!).

A brand new app makes the pairing easier than ever - with clear animations showing how to turn the camera on and start the pairing process. All the set up is done directly on your smartphone or tablet.

The manual has been completely re-written too with all the necessary info on getting going and getting the most out of our wifi wildlife camera.

Once you've paired your WiFi WildCam 2, you interact with your camera purely via the app. When you tap on the camera, it connects and you see exactly whats happening right then - with buttons to see playback, change settings, start recording etc as well as checking battery status and signal strength. 

To set it up, you can use the wall mount provided in the box or mount on a tripod. We've designed the camera to work perfectly with our MiniPod Stretch too.

The motion alerts list lets you see at a glance images of what you've missed, so you can go and review that specific video or time.

You can also quickly share videos or stills from the app however you want - via WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram etc.
