Here at NatureSpy we've been working really hard on getting the BirdCam Pro just right - with excellent video quality specifically to get those close up views of your garden birds, great WiFi range and reliable performance. This WiFi-connected bird feeder camera is a result of our ongoing efforts to deliver the best solution for garden bird watching, building on the overwhelming success of our WiFi WildCams.
Feature packed
As you'd expect, the BirdCam Pro is designed to blend in to your garden - not be brash and bold, but to look like it belongs. Our NatureSpy app for both iOS and Android, a built-in solar panel, and pre-installed 32GB memory card (no on-going subscription costs at all) means its simple and quick to get up and running.
AI-powered bird recognition
Wait, what's that? Don't recognise this new visitor? No problem - tap the 'ID Bird' button in the app, and providing there is a clear view, the app will tell you what it thinks is visiting! Our bird watching camera can recognise all our UK garden visitors - from blackbirds to wren, blue tits to nuthatches.
App-controlled, solar powered
Powered by internal rechargeable batteries which are kept topped up with the solar panel built in the roof, and controlled with our user-friendly app, the WiFi BirdCam Pro lets you view your feathered garden visitors at any time. You can choose to get motion alerts, or just view live when you fancy it - all you need is the bird camera connected to your WiFi, and your phone or tablet with an internet connection.
As well, if anything visits the bird feeder camera before or after the sun's out, the camera's infrared LEDs will allow you to see what's stopped by in night vision.
Refill your feeder, refuel your birds
The clever design of the BirdCam Pro means the seed tray keeps gently refilling as the birds pick from the tray. When the feeder is empty, its easy to refill. The seed tray also has small holes to allow for drainage, and can hold 2.5 litres of food.
Squirrels in mind
In most of the UK, feeding your birds often means feeding one or more squirrels. The BirdCam Pro comes with a pre-installed metal perch, which can support 'chunkier' visitors. If you don't have any visiting squirrels, you can swap to the plastic perch included in the box - which gives a larger area for your birds to wait their turn on.
The feeder refill lid can also be screwed in place if needed, to prevent any squirrels getting faster access to the lovely grub inside.
Matte not gloss
Some birds, at certain times of the year, can get a bit upset at their reflection - thinking someone is muscling in on their patch. We didn't want that - so we added a matte front to the bird camera, to help stop anyone getting confused and pecking at the camera in anger!
Link multiple wildlife cameras
The BirdCam Pro uses the same NatureSpy app that our popular WildCam 2 uses - so you can view all your garden cameras in one place. You can even use 'multi-view' to see everything at once. You can add as many BirdCams or WildCams as you want to the app.
Mount it anywhere
The WiFi BirdCam Pro can be mounted on a tree, fence, or post. There are instructions on how to mount it with the camera. You can also strap the feeder up if preferred using the gaps in the metal mounting bracket (strap not included).

You can view the action straight on your smartphone or tablet - either watching live or using the playback feature.
The camera just needs a consistent WiFi connection and your smart device must be connected to the internet.
The sound is also nice and clear - so you can hear all the chirping, flapping, jumping, squawking - whatever it may be!

Batteries: 5200mAh internal Lithium batteryWe've made the BirdCam Pro as strong and sturdy as possible, to maximise longevity and handle all manner of feathered visitors. Putting up with heavier, squirrel visitors was important too - so we have a choice of perches included in the box, depending on your needs. The feeder comes with a pre-installed metal perch, and you can change to a larger plastic perch if you don't have squirrels weighing your feeder down!
The internal batteries are rechargeable lithium for the best performance, as well as being more environmentally friendly. You can charge these up using the USB-C port on top of the camera and provided USB cable.
The integrated solar panel in the top of the feeder will also keep the batteries topped up. We recommend mounting the camera so the solar panel can get some sunshine.
The WiFi BirdCam Pro is also supplied with a 1 year warranty in the UK when bought through NatureSpy.

The in-built motion sensor on the BirdCam Pro means it'll have no issue at all picking up your feathered visitors. If you have anything popping by for food whilst its still pre- or post-dawn, the camera's infrared LEDs will kick in so you can still see whats stopped by.
The AI capability of the app is a great bonus when you don't recognise whats at the feeder. You can tap the ‘ID Bird’ button in the app and it'll take a snapshot at that point, and tell you what it thinks it is. Of course, better to get a still where you can see all of the bird for best results.
Motion alerts come through within a few seconds, and you can be watching your feathered visitors from wherever you are in just a few moments.

Our NatureSpy app makes the pairing quick and easy - with clear animations showing how to turn the camera on and start the pairing process. All the set up is done directly on your smartphone or tablet.
There is a full manual supplied in the box with details of how to get going, and also how to mount the feeder.
Once you've paired your BirdCam Pro, you interact with your camera purely via the app. When you tap on the camera, it connects and you see exactly whats happening right then - with buttons to see playback, change settings, start recording etc as well as checking battery status and signal strength.
