Pulsar Axion Key XM22 Thermal Monocular
The New Pulsar Axion Key XM22 is an affordable alternative to other thermal imaging monoculars currently available on the market. It is technically astute with its 960×720 LCOS display and 320×240 12 µm core.
The Axion Key XM22 has a 2x base magnification which increases to 8x with digital zoom, as well as a 950m detection range. It’s instant start-up allows you to preserve battery power whilst still being able to start up the device when the right moment comes. It’s Picture in Picture function allows you to zoom in on a specific object on the screen whilst still maintaining your field of view.
The lightweight, ultra compact and rugged magnesium alloy housing makes it easy to carry around in any standard-sized pocket and it’s ergonomic design means it will fit perfectly in your hand. The IPX7 waterproof rating protects the device from snow, heavy rainfall or other precipitation. It can even survive water submersion up to 1m for 30 minutes.

The B-pack power system uses miniature power elements to provide a good level of operation time and can be quickly replaced. B-pack mini batteries charge quickly either in the unit connected by a USB or via the included charger station.
Warranty: The Axion Key XM22 comes with three years warranty, the rechargeable battery comes with one year. All handled in house by NatureSpy.
Key differences – Axion Key XM22 vs Axion Key XM30
- The XM22 has a wider horizontal field of view 10°, Key XM30 has 7.8°
- The XM22 has a shorter focal length at 22mm as opposed to the 30mm on the Key XM30
- The magnification is lower on the XM22 at 2x compared with the 2.5x on the XM30
- The XM22 has a fixed focus objective lens
