Product Description

The Browning Trail Camera Tree Mount ensures you never have to compromise with getting the shot you want. Attach to any crooked tree or awkward fence post and use the gimbal mount to face the camera trap exactly the way you want.

The camera attaches to the mount using the tripod screw at the base of every Browning camera (except the Browning Defender cameras), and will also fit any other non-Browning trail cameras with a tripod insert.

It also comes with 2 nylon webbing straps and has an all-steel construction for maximum lifespan and durability.

Very useful adjunct to trail camera in order to obtain correct viewing angle. Supplied with very long straps for even the largest of trees. Would be improved if mounting screw was like a camera tripod (it’s fixed, so that the whole camera needs to be rotated to screw it on the mount).

A well-made and substantial bracket with a positional gimbal that’s got bomb proof stability. The camera locking ring on the tree mounts male thread is large and has a rubberised friction grip upper surface to mate against the camera body. The integral moulding on the Recon Force Elite HP4 that houses the female thread has a small friction contact area that touches only a small proportion of the tree mount’s locking ring and when tightened allows the camera to move on the mount with little effort which is why I’m giving it 4 stars and not five.

Would have given 5 star for quality but no instructions came with it and when mounting the camera, for it to be really tightened it ended up facing backwards. Also, even though the strap is superb, the clasp is difficult to handle and close by just one person.

A solid piece of kit with sturdy straps. Gimbal mount makes it much easier to get camera aligned correctly.

I have used the camera tree mount to position my camera on my garage soffit and provide overhead coverage to observe young foxes in the garden. The tree mount is versatile and provides virtually any angle to get the perfect view. Nature Spy offered their usual first rate delivery service.

A good mount as it allows me to adjust the filming view with more finesse than a fixed position mount.

Excellent mount, very good build quality, but pity these items, like the security box and cable, don’t come camouflaged like the camera. There are, especially in the US, camo straps and in fact camo everything over there, rather than me having to spray paint everything.

    Browning Tree Mount

Before buying this I was just strapping the cam to a tree and packing out with bits of wood to get a decent angle, the tree mount makes things so much easier. You can get exactly the viewing angle you need. Simple and robust, packs flat when disassembled, great product.

Love this mount. Had to look on YouTube to see how to fix it together but it’s so simple. Love it. Love the camera too.

The tree mount makes moving the camera very easy. You can tweak it to get just the right angle for watching down at night for hedgehogs and up in the morning for the bird feeders, or level for the wide garden shots. We have also used it on a gutter down pipe to get shots along a side of the house with no available trees or fence posts. It just needs a bit of cardboard behind to stop the teeth biting into the pipe. We will be getting another one to make moving the camera from one side of the house to the other a lot easier by leaving the mounts and moving the camera.
